Salt Lake City Is Where Our Crew Starts Every Morning
The shop is here, so most of our concrete polishing in Salt Lake City is a short drive from where the grinders get loaded each morning. One week it might be a warehouse on the west side. The next, it’s a detached garage behind a Sugar House bungalow, with a slab that’s older than the people who own the house and has the oil stains to show for it. We grind it, patch what’s cracked, and finish it for whatever’s coming: forklifts, a work truck dripping slush, or kids with a basketball.Services We Bring to Salt Lake City Homes and Businesses
Every price we give starts with someone from our crew standing on the slab.

Industrial Coatings
Food plants and machine shops are hard on floors. Hot water, cleaners and steel wheels will chew through a thin coating in a season, so our industrial coatings in Salt Lake City go on thick, over concrete that’s been ground all the way down to a clean profile.

Concrete Polishing
Downtown offices and lofts ask for this one most. It’s a hard, bright floor you clean with a mop.

Concrete Coatings
For garages and shop floors we use epoxy or polyaspartic systems with some texture in the top coat. You pick the color; we’ll pick the system based on what drives or rolls across it.

Concrete Sealing
Driveways and patios here go through freeze after freeze every winter, and salt rides in on every tire. Concrete sealing in Salt Lake City keeps that water and salt from getting into the surface, and it’s cheap compared to replacing a flaked slab.

Self Leveling and Overlays
A floor with dips and old patches gets self-leveling underlayment. A tired driveway or patio can get a urethane overlay instead of being jackhammered out.

General Contracting
When a business wants one crew for a whole buildout, we do general contracting in Salt Lake City as well, covering permits, framing, the trades and the floor on a single schedule.

Waterproof Decking and Pool Decks
Pool decks and second story balconies get a waterproof coating with grip, so wet feet stay put and water stays out of the slab underneath.
Why Salt Lake Concrete Needs the Right Finish
Water gets into bare concrete, freezes overnight and pushes the top layer apart. Do that dozens of times a winter, add road salt, and you get the flaking you see on so many older garage aprons around town. A sealed or coated slab doesn’t let the water in to begin with. It keeps oil out too, which matters more than people think on a floor that’s had cars parked on it for thirty years.
Summer brings the opposite problem. Patios and pool decks sit in direct sun, and a cheap coating can fade or turn slick by August. We use products rated for UV that still leave some texture underfoot.

What Salt Lake City Customers Say
Salt Lake City Concrete Questions We Hear Most
Short answers, before anyone comes out to measure.
For a lot of commercial floors, it comes out about even or a little cheaper over time, since there’s no coating to wear through and redo. Epoxy usually wins on a garage, though. It hides stains and old damage that polishing would only make shinier.
With regular dust mopping and an occasional reseal of the guard, a polished floor can go for decades. The slab itself is the finish. Unlike a coating, there’s nothing on top to peel off.
Usually, as long as the slab is in decent shape and nobody glued tile or carpet down hard enough to leave a thick layer behind. We grind the old adhesive off first, and we’ll tell you up front if the floor is too damaged to polish well.
Price comes down to square footage, how rough the slab is and how much shine you want. You’ll get a fixed number once we’ve seen the floor.
Dry, it’s about like any smooth floor, and we can add a treatment for more grip. Wipe up spills the way you would on tile.
Usually a day or two of work. Then the coating needs to cure before the car goes back in, and we’ll give you the exact wait for your system.
In Salt Lake, it’s worth doing. A fall seal keeps salt and meltwater out once the freezes start.
Often. Cracks get filled and damage gets repaired first, though some old patches will still show through, and we’ll tell you which ones before we start.
